How to clean bowling grease off a wallet?

I am in a bowling league and bowl every Tuesday. The grease from the bowling ball gets on my hands and when I go to the snack bar to buy a drink i open my wallet and the grease get all over my ID slot. Now I’m stuck with this brown stain the clear part of the ID slot making my ID unreadable. Help me i don’t want to have to buy another wallet.
